Bug Description
If Compiz is enabled in Ubuntu MATE and mate-panel is used, minimised applications can potentially show thumbnails for an application from another workspace. This can be resolved by enabling 'Only Windows of Current Viewport' in the Thumbnail Preview plugin for Compiz.
The drawback of the above solution is that if Plank/Docky is used as a dock, you'll only see thumbnails for docked applications on the current workspace.
The proposed solution is to add functionality to MATE Tweak to enable/disable 'Only Windows of Current Viewport' in the Compiz Thumbnail plugin depending on the panel layout requested.
