Bug Description

I'm having this issue since Ubuntu 14.04.

Now I'm on 14.10.

Gnome-shell 3.14.3

Kernel 3.16.0-29-generic x86_64

UPower client version 0.99.1
UPower daemon version 0.99.1

Almost every single day I have an issue with upowerd process(es). Suddenly upowerd process(es) eats 100% memory, system freezes due to memory lack. I have a 16GB of RAM and upowerd can eat ANY amount.

I think I have seen similar problem reported while ago, unfortunately I cannot find it right now. If you find it please set this topic as duplicate.

Anyway - I am looking for a solution. It's a nightmare getting my system freezed every day...

Thanks!
