'Exit and delete chat' does not exit the chat

Bug Description
Steps to reproduce:
- swipe to right on a selected chat
- press the 'exit and delete' chat (not obvious, but it's the one with arrow and cirle going to the outside of it)
Expected:
- the chat is removed from the list
- I am removed from the chat
Actual:
- the chat is removed from the list
- I am NOT removed from the chat and continue to receive messages
