but appeared after system-bootup and while checking for updates via sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install -f && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade && sudo apt-get upgrade on 15.04.

Seb, did you find any evidence why this is a glib bug? What leads to your assumption that it is not in cups-browsed?

To everyone who observed this crash: Are you able to reproduce the crash? If so, can you try to downgrade cups-browsed and/or libglib2.0-0 to older versions and see with which versions the crash goes away?

Cannot reproduce crash - and crash has never occurred since that one instance.

For me today it seems also the first the bug occured: immediately after system boot (15.04) and login. No action was possible after typing the password. After long time of working the hard disc (no mouse pointer was seen), automatic bug report started. Reproducing was not possible. If it is later, i give a new comment.
