quickly edit crash with Ubuntu mate distribution

Bug Description

Using Ubuntu Mate 14.10 (Mate is 1.8.2).
I have Pluma text editor installed. (Pluma 1.8.1)

1. I dont have gedit installed in my computer. Mate using pluma editor.
When im typing 'quickly edit' in my command bar. quickly crash (Traceback ). It searching correct gedit editor, but not found.

ERROR: edit command failed

2. How to get working. Install gedit. Quickly edit command works. Not anymore crash.
