LateNight wastes vertical space

Bug Description

There are two areas of blank space in the LateNight skin that could be used more productively. One possibility would be to remove blank spaces A & B in the attached screenshot, move the decks down a little, and expand the waveforms to the width of the whole window. Another possibility would be to move area C up by the hotcue controls and expand the overview waveform.

The space "A" is because of the rate slider and buttons. The space "B" is because of the master mixer and waveforms. It is not easy to get rid of this space. You also appear to be using an out of date version of LateNight, the newer version has taken some steps to eliminate these problem areas. But, mostly, the main mixer area is the main culprit. If I move the decks down and stretch the waveforms over the whole width, in four-deck mode the waveforms take up a lot of room.

I don't see an area "C" unless I'm really blind.

I just compiled from git master. I labeled the area to the right of the overview waveform "Area C".

Could the Mixxx logo be moved to the center between the tops of the volume faders to make the mixer take a little less vertical space?

Stretching the waveforms horizontally in two deck mode might work if 4 deck mode reverted to how it is now.

Having two different places for the waveforms is really hard to do with the skin system.

The logo is not adding any height. Contributors to the height are:

* thin button bar
* waveforms
* gain and EQ knobs
* crossfader

Moving the crossfader is tricky because once again it'd have to have two possible locations -- in between the eq controls in 2-deck mode, or underneath where it already is in 4-deck mode.

Yeah it's not ideal, and I'll keep working on it, but it's not simple to fix.

It used to be that the mixer was a little wider, but then sometimes the left deck was a different size from the right deck, and that looked ugly. There's really no easy solution here :(
