Bug Description

When HPLIP is built for python3 (PYTHON=/usr/bin/python3), the hpmudext extension is built for python3. Unfortunately, the plugin installer is python2, and wants to import hpmudext.

The plugin installer needs to be able to deal with hpmudext only being available as a python3 module.

Ping.

Is there any progress please?

This currently blocks status of Fedora23 being python3 only as we need to ship compat libs for plugin installer.
