Can't drag a file from the filechooser the trashcan applet

Bug Description

Which works on windows. Also, this needs to be enabled to promote gnome's object
paradigm (drag and drop action is central to object manipulation)

doesn't work with the trashapplet right but that's not what you describe in the
bug summary. Ie: that works fine with the desktop here. Do you have the issue
with the desktop ?

I sometimes have sporadic issues with dnd from filechooser to desktop etc. But I
can't find a way to reproduce these issues, I think I will drop them. However,
the inability to dnd from filechooser to the trashcan applet is always
reproduceable.
