Reason: This feature work very well and can be a very nice ux enhancement to horizon, but it seems to be be really low priority to the cores. It has been waiting for approval many months and maintaining it become a pain.

Reason: Rob prefers a different implementation, which I think was previously abandoned in https://review.openstack.org/#/c/156785/. Maybe someone will resurrect that patch and try again.

According to the discussion in both reviews, the first one looks better. The author abandoned the patch only due to lack of reviews, so it might be restored if someone wants to do it.
