Bug Description

With stock 14.04 kernel, wireless gets poor range and intermittently cuts out / lags. Additionally, at school, I can associate with AP for a few minutes, then it disconnects and repeatedly fails to reconnect until rebooting.

Tested kernel 3.19.0-031900 and the range issue went away, completely, and is acting as it should in a perfect world. (After spring break I'll report about the school's AP dropping me.)

This is identical to bug 1315221, except I'm reporting 3.13.0-27 and the issue usually doesn't occur if I'm within 15 feet of the router. (Actually, it just decided to prove me wrong now.)

Derek, thank you for reporting this and helping make Ubuntu better. To see if this is already fixed in Ubuntu, could you please test http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/ and advise to the results?

I'll check this out ASAP. I noticed that with the 3.19 kernel, battery life is reduced to about half the time as before.
