Bug Description

Scenario: I am at home where I have a fast connection called "Conejito". There is also a slow connection available "Xfinity Wifi". When I'm away from home, and I don't have a fast connection available to me, I will connect to "Xfinity Wifi" elsewhere.

Problem: Because I've previously connected to "Xfinity Wifi" and because I might connect to this SSID a lot (during my travels), the computer will sometimes prefer this connection at home instead of the faster "Conejito" connection.

Solution: We need to keep some kind of memory of the average speed of each SSID and even LTE vs Wifi or Wired and take this into account when connecting. We should always strive to put the user on the fastest available connection no matter which network interface or SSID that is.

The idea is good but the criteria shouldn't only rely on the fastest.
If a lot computers use the fastest medium it the speed will be slow. The remaining speed, the available bandwidth should be taken as the main criteria.
