Best Score: 6/3

I finished the game in hard mode, with all stars. Now when I change to medium mode and open the level selection screen, I see that the first level doesn’t have any stars above the thumbnail, like other levels. And when I select it, I see "Best Score: 6/3". I’m attaching screenshots that demonstrate the issue.

This is consistently reproducible across app launches, and across device reboots. I didn’t manually tinker with whatever files MvM writes to disk.

Let me know if I can attach files that would help investigating the issue.

Can you please attach ~/.config/com.ubuntu.developer.mzanetti.machines-vs-machines/machines-vs-machines.conf

And are you sure this config doesn't still have entries from a earlier beta version that I've sent around before putting it to the store? The first versions I gave you didn't only have 3 stars per level, but > 20. So if the config still holds old values it would try try to search for a 6-star image now.

If you're sure that you wiped this device since then and this config is created by a version that is/has been in the store, then this is a bug in the calculations.

Indeed I see the following suspicious line in the config file (attached here):

    machines-vs-machines\1\highscore-level0=6

It might be that the config has entries from an earlier beta version (although I mostly played the beta on flo, and this is a krillin). I haven’t wiped this device in ages.

So it’s probably ok to mark this bug invalid, or at least to not do anything about it for now, unless someone else encounters the same issue.

I haven't seen this any more. Pretty sure it was an old config from the beta days.
