Bug Description
Untouched Kubuntu Live DVD dated March 10th, 15.04 beta.
The example custom shortcut [Type "Hello"] sends "hello" with lower case 'h'.
First noticed on March 3rd DVD but I was under a VM, so needed to confirm with LiveCD.
Nothing much else I can say - easy enough to try yourself.
-----
While you're there, try setting the accel key as Meta+\ [WinKey+Backslash]
(It let me set it but didn't do much other than flash the screen)
However, it might have been key-mappings messing things up because,
on LiveDVD, backslash is < (<).
Cheers.
