Bug Description

I just upgraded to 1.2.1 (from 1.0) under Ubuntu 14.10. Now the background of some elements have turned to black, which is quite unpleasant. This happens e.g. to the pane on the left side if the list of tags gets larger as the screen (it only goes back to gray if I collapse the tag categories and restart lifeograph). Also the pane above the entry (with date, bold etc.) and below (with the tags) have turned to black background and did not change back, ever with restart. Is there a way to bring it back to gray as it was before?

Regards, Martin

PS: I really like the other changes of the new version!

With your information that this affects Adwaita on Ubuntu only and not elsewhere, I found this:
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2203357

As it mentioned there, one has to diable overlay scroll.
The command presented on this side to achieve it seems wrong to me. I think it is the command to enable it.

For me, this worked:
gsettings set com.canonical.desktop.interface scrollbar-mode normal

I found the command on this side:
https://help.ubuntu.com/stable/ubuntu-help/unity-scrollbars-intro.html

Thank you for your support!

OK, so this is an Ubuntu issue. I am marking it here accordingly.
