Bug Description

I have a hp Deskjet 3520 series printer and I need to use it for borderless printing. I've installed hplip 3.15.2 from the sources (the ubuntu-provided package has non-working GUI) and the related hpcups drivers. I'm using kubuntu 14.04 with kde 4.13.3. The problem is quite weird: at the beginning, when the printer is configured for the very first time, it prints correctly with no borders. Then, apparently randomly, after a reboot or two, or a printer settings change , the driver starts to add borders. Mostly this happens at the bottom of the page, but sometimes also at the top, though it seems that border is smaller in this latter case. I've selected the A4 borderless page size.
So, the driver is capable to do borderless printing, but why it decides to add borders after a while?
