zope hangs without producing an error message

Bug Description

Zope hangs, but does not crash, after about 10 hours. None of the error logs (console, large, stupid, debug, or connection) produces any error. The only clues I have thus far are two messages in the posgresql log:

pq_recvbuf: recv() failed: Connection reset by peer.
pq_recvbuf: unexpected EOF on client connection

I have tried:
   setting ZOPE_SECURITY_POLICY=PYTHON
   setting -t 1
   removing the -D parm

I'm at loss as to how to find/fix the problem. Any additional help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Chris

Can you confirm that this is still a problem? It sounds like a postgresql issue to me.

This would have been a help request for a user mailing list and is not a bug. Today you'd debug these things via something like http://pypi.python.org/pypi/Products.signalstack
