Bug Description

System and package info:

$ lsb_release -rd

Description: Ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS
Release: 14.04

$ apt-cache policy network-manager-vpnc

network-manager-vpnc:
  Instalados: 0.9.8.6-1ubuntu2
  Candidato: 0.9.8.6-1ubuntu2
  Tabla de versión:
 *** 0.9.8.6-1ubuntu2 0
        500 http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ trusty/universe i386 Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

Description:

I can't connect to a cisco ipsec vpn.
When I run 'sudo /usr/lib/NetworkManager/nm-vpnc-service --debug' i realize that is a backslash before a double quote in secret

Example (secret was changed):

secrets : [ { 'IPSec secret': !$juGfn!w$%&Qf\"F#$kjwcytrdF }

Connection dies and finally I get:

/usr/sbin/vpnc: hash comparison failed: (ISAKMP_N_AUTHENTICATION_FAILED)(24)
check group password!

** (nm-vpnc-service:29358): WARNING **: vpnc exited with error code 2
