total_resources() does not handle nested stack NotFound

Bug Description
The total_resources() stack method does not handle NotFound which is raised by nested().
This seems to happen often enough in an autoscaling situation when lots of resources are coming and going.
(Also a patch I am working on seems to change the timing of events so this happens more often).
