Paid-For Long Overdue Items Still Appear in "Other/Special Circulations" Window

PINES implemented the "Longoverdue" feature (see bug 1169193) in October 2014, and now that patrons are coming in to pay for these items, we've encountered unexpected behavior. When items that are marked "Lost" are paid for, they no longer display in the "Other/Special Circulations" (lower) window on the Items Out screen in the patron account, and we were expecting "Long Overdue" items to have the same behavior. However, Long Overdue items continue to appear after they have been paid for, and this is creating confusion for patrons and staff trying to resolve patron account issues. As it stands, the only way for staff to know that a Long Overdue item has been paid for is to dig into the patron's payment history.

Our recommendation is that these items behave the same way as Lost items and not appear in the "Other/Special Circulations" window.
