Bug Description
It is currently only possible for the service user that enables nova to talk to neutron to authenticate via the standard keystone v2 auth mechanisms. As we progress we should support v3 auth and any new formats that come along.
Adopting keystoneclient's session work will give us forward compatibility with any authentication mechanisms they allow.
