nm-applet does not appear in the taskbar after latest update of software in lubuntu. I also stried to use te autostart/add on option in preferences but still no luck. I can only start it manually bu doing sudo nm-applet in the command line. very annoying as it was working fine till the last update. Sth's wrong with the last update as i can't have my thunderbird icon on taskbar appear on log on. i used firestarter add on on mozilla thunderbird to minimise thunderbird to task bar on exit. that has gone as well.thanks koli

Hello Sn0m,
Thank you for submitting this bug and reporting a problem with the network-manager-applet package. You made this bug report in 2015 and there have been several versions of Ubuntu since then.

Could you confirm that this is no longer a problem and that we can close the ticket?
If it is still a problem, are you still interested in finding a solution to this bug?
If you are, could you run the following (only once):
apport-collect 1423802
and upload the updated logs and and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.

Thank you again for helping make Ubuntu better.
G
