Evolution sometimes discards text when inserting signature into reply

Bug Description

When I try to reply to a message in Evolution (version 3.12.7-0ubuntu1), I fill in the reply text and then a signature block. Upon doing the latter, however, the text sometimes disappears and is replaced by the signature block instead of having the signature block inserted at the cursor's location.
