Bug Description
When I try to open Package Manager I get this message:
An error occurred
E: Encountered a section with no Package: header
E: Problem with MergeList /var/lib/
E: The package lists or status file could not be parsed or opened.
E: _cache->open() failed, please report.
Have tried 'sudo synaptic' same result.
the Software Manager won't open either. I haven't updated lately nor added any software.
