Bug Description

On my report card worksheet I have a column for Comments. When I click on the cell to add a comment it pulls up a pop-up (of sorts) that I should be able to write in and edit. This is the case if I use IE 8 Compatibility Mode, but with IE 11 and Chrome it does not let me edit within the box. Additional Info: Once I put information in the comment field via IE 8 Mode, If I click on the field within Chrome, the text does not even show up. The IE Tabs extension within Chrome does allow me to add and/or edit the text.

What is your "base" browser (that you're putting into compatibility mode)?

Internet Explorer 11

and
Chrome Version 40.0.2214.111 m

On a Windows 7 Home Premium SP1
64Bit w/ 4GB RAM

We also tried it on our small Acer Chromebook C720P

All of the above are not able to edit/write a comment. (for me)

OK, we'll have a look and aim to have this fixed in the 3.0 release which will hopefully be the end of the month.

Which version of SchoolTool?

This seems to have been fixed in 2.8.4, the popup works in Chrome now.
