Bug Description

I am using avconv for converting some videos using a beanstalkd worker. After some processing we notice that the avconv executable itself gets corrupted in some way. We don't have any virus scanners currently.

I'm using ubuntu server 14.04.1 LTS as my server os.

I will attach the working and the corrupted avconv executables in a zip archive to this report.

libav-tools version is 6:9.16-0ubuntu0.14.04.1

Working avconv details:
md5sum >> e6dde88fadc2595c6873eea892cd84a8 avconv
ls -al >> root root 131080 Aug 10 2014 avconv

Corrupted avconv details:
md5sum >> 8eaa4c81b3978e75b6c943a4f53bc599 avconv
ls -al >> root root 131083 Feb 10 10:17 avconv

If I execute the corrupted avconv executable it shows this error:

-bash: /usr/bin/avconv: cannot execute binary file: Exec format error

Re-installing libav-tools solves the issue temporarily until it gets corrupted again.

Any hints?
Thank you.
