flac file extension invisible in the library Typ column and properties editor

I am using mixxx 12alpha, build 5175 under W7/64 and skin latenight.

The column typ i see mp3, but i see not flac. View bibliothek, othe views i dont know because i mostly use mp3. Wehen i know more i write it here.

Additional info:
I have first added fresh files to mixx and had rescan database because new files in the music folder. After that i have seen that the new files not as flac under typ marked.

Can confirm with latest master on OSX.
Flac files play fine, but the file extension is invisible in the library ``Typ``column and properties editor.

I found the error. The flac soundsource didn't set the type variable. Fixed in.

test with build 5202: New flac are now listet as flac. OK

Question:
Is there a workaorund for files with empty typ? Reason: After the rescan i looked to the old without flac, no flac found after the test.

Not straight forward I'm afraid.

Try to rescan the affected files (delete metadata and rescan). Otherwise
you need to use a separate application to change our sqlite database.
