color jitter tool doesn't show change of gradient color

When using the colot jitter tool on an object with a gradient filling, the colors of the gradient are updated in the fill and stroke dialoge but not in the document. Moving the drawing will change color to actual color.

Steps for reproducing:
- Fill an object with a gradient
- use color jitter tool to change color

Used Inkscape 0.91 r from http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/StefanBruens:/branches:/GNOME:/Apps/openSUSE_13.2/x86_64/inkscape-0.91.0+bzr.13727-110.1.x86_64.rpm

Not reproduced on Windows XP (32bits) with Inkscape trunk rev. 13901. The gradient colors change in the dialog and the object without having to move the drawing.

Reproduced with Inkscape 0.91 r13725 and 0.91+devel r13798, but not consistently.

Among the triggers seemed to be using a 'shared' gradient (the lock icon on the gradient tool bar).
The main symptom was losing the selection (highlight) of the gradient in the list in 'Fill and Stroke': while the gradient preview image in the gradient list of the deselected (but still in use for the selection) gradient did update based on the tweak color jittering, the objects on canvas stopped updating.
A screen refresh (zooming in or out) fixed the rendering of the objects on-canvas; a subsequent reselecting of the selection with a click made the gradient in Fill & Stroke selected again, and jittering the colors worked again.

I didn't figure out yet how to consistently reproduce it though.
