Bug Description

When passing the --app option, with the URL parameter, a blank page is opened.

Example command: "$ chromium-browser --app=google.com"

This happens whether or not a session exists prior and at the time of running the command.

Expected behavior, according to the manual:
"Runs URL in app mode: with no browser toolbars."

Issue was not including protocol with URL - e.g. with "chromium-browser --app=google.com" vs. "chromium-browser --app=http://google.com", the latter one (including http://) works.

Changed in chromium-browser (Ubuntu):
assignee: nobody → vonky (bddenhartog)
status: New → Invalid
