Bug Description

Not really sure if its a bug -

ubuntu 14.04
apache 2.4.7

after LAMP instalation , added phpmyadmin wich claims to have mcrypt missing so tried apt-get install php5-mcrypt witch failed with the above error, after removing javascript-common, apt-get install php5-mcrypt claims to be already instaled, might be something to do with apache as it performed gracefull restart right after the error.
