Bug Description

Binary package hint: guarddog

I have installed ubuntu linux 2.6.15-28-386. Then using System>Administration>Synaptic Package Manager, I installed guarddog successfully.

Now I want to start guarddog. How do I do it? There are no icons on my desktop to launch guarddog. I searched Applications>Applications as well as Applications>System tools, but couldn't see a link for guarddog anywhere.

How do I get to see guarddog screens?

I am able to verify files are installed at /usr/share/apps/guarddog/.

Thanks for the clarification.

There is a .desktop file in the package but it does not appear to be compliant.
