apt-get update fails giving mmap - msync error

Saw the following error on yesterday's as well as wednesday's daily-live on apt-get update. Adept also not working.

E: Unable to write mmap - msync (2 No such file or directory)

I have the very same problem. I'm running 22 Sept 2007 daily-Live cd.

I can confirm this. I use the 21 Sept. Live-CD.

Likewise, I can confirm this on self built live cds using the archives from the 22nd.
