Bug Description
Running Gutsy:
After performing an auto upgrade using adept, a lot of programs started to behave strangely.
When opening "media:/" in Konqueror, you just get a listing of UUIDs instead of drive-names that should be mounted.
e.g.: "Hard Disk (UUID=0C988AF.....)
Whereas CD-ROM/DVD & Floppy are displayed normally.
When clicking on a drive icon, the errormessage:
"Feature only available with HAL" appears.
If you could tell me where to look, I might be able to get you details!

Thanks for submitting this report.
It looks like that this occurred on a pre-release of gutsy. Can you confirm this still occurring on the final gutsy release (using KDE 3.5.8)?
Thanks
