Bug Description

I installed mythtv and later decided to uninstall, I ran apt-get purge and removed all packages related to mythtv. None of the mythtv- files in /etc/logrotate.d/ where removed on purge so I had to remove them manually.

Did you at some point modify those files? I can't reproduce what you are seeing, but I know that if you alter the files we won't touch them after that.

Changed in mythtv (Ubuntu):

Actually, just tested modifying the files and I cannot reproduce what you are seeing.

'sudo apt-get remove mythtv-frontend --purge mythtv-frontend' successfully removes the mythtv-frontend file from /etc/logrotate.d/

This is on a standard Ubuntu 14.04 install.
