Bug Description

Dear maintainers,

Working with Xubuntu 14.10 the xfce4-session manager fails to restart the evolution mail client. It DID work in Xubuntu 14.04.
Already the session listing in Settings->Start up ...->Session does not list evolution at all - but shows all other running applications.
Any idea what could cause this behaviour or how to fix it?

Version of xfce4-session: 4.11.0-1ubuntu1
Version of evolution: 3.13.8-fta1

Many regards,
Martin

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug.

A similar report has been filed some time ago (bug 1371149). However, there seems to be no actual progress in resolving this problem. Therefore, I suggest that you forward this bug to the upstream bug tracker. Thanks in advance.

But I agree its somehow identical to https://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=10963 or https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1371149 . The problem applies to some gnome apps and in my case only evolution.

I think we should mark this report as duplicate then. Please add a comment to the other report and mention that the problem applies to evolution. Thanks.
