Can't change volume from indicator-sound

Bug Description

Trying to change the volume from indicator-sound sets the volume to 0%

Ensure that your have drivers for your sound card. Can you provide system information? How to replicate? Give some screen-shots too if you can.

As far as I can see I have the issue.

It looks like the mouse clicks are not properly registered by the slider
(see video in attachment)

Same issue here. That, and well...the buttons are missing for the media players. System up to date as of 1/21/15

As a work-around, you can use your mouse wheel (or the scroll border in your touchpad if on a laptop) while hovering over the slider to change the volume.

This is a known issue in indicator-sound (LP: #1344990).

As for the missing Previous/Next buttons, it’s an issue in egtk. It doesn’t happen in Ambiance/Radiance.
