According to our style, "life cycle" is written as two words, no hyphen.

The heading and the first sentence both use a hyphen, should I open another for those? Or should this just be re-scoped for them?

Per the IBM style guide we should use "life cycle" as a noun, and "life-cycle" as an adjective. If any of our usages deviate from that, then we should have a ticket to correct it.
