Bug Description
After updating recently, my laptop is riddled with crashes. When I close the lid, it supposed to go into Sleep mode, but instead it shuts down.
Also, when I boot up, among many crash messages, I got this one. I have no time to investigate further now, but I'm happy to help to provide further information later.
My laptop is a Dell XPS 15 (2014 model with Intel i7 4th generation CPU) with NVIDIA 750M 2GB discrete video card. I'm using Ubuntu 14.10.
apt-cache output:
nvidia-331:
Installed: 331.113-0ubuntu0.1
Candidate: 331.113-0ubuntu0.1
Version table:
*** 331.113-0ubuntu0.1 0

I expect to reapply the nvidia package seemlessly after kernel update.
I'm getting error reports after booting the laptop.
