OO Writer crash opening a document containing check boxes

Kubuntu Feisty Fawn updated - KDE 3.5.7 - OO 2.3.0

OO Writter can't open any document containing check boxes in any format (odt, doc, ...). It crashes every time and it can't recuperate any part of the file.

This problem appears to be fixed in Ubuntu 7.10 (Gutsy). I was able to create an odt file with a checkbox and save and open it without problems. Can you test there and see if the problem goes away for you?

It still doesn't work for me:

When I try to open a file with a checkbox OO crashes: apears the window to recuperate the file, but it can never recuperate the file.

If I open a new file and I add a checkbox, it's supposed to save the file when I try to, but when I try to exit OO it crashes again and apears the window to recuperate the file. I can't open the saved file any time, and when I try to recuperate the file it's empty...

Can you check to see if you have the "openoffice.org" package installed also? For some reason this package is sometimes not installed on systems and can cause problems if it is not.

I didn't have the package "openoffice.org" installed!!

I installed athis package and now everything works properly. Thank you.
