Ubuntu 14.10 - Synapse bleeding edge crashes

Hi,

I just upgraded from 14.04 to 14.10 and Synapse is no longer working for me. I am using the version from the bleeding edge ppa:

https://launchpad.net/~synapse-core/+archive/ubuntu/testing

Synapse crashes as soon as I start typing. This is the log I get at command line:
