Bug Description
Source Packages: musiclibrarian_
There is a similar bug reported in another version, but I'm adding this because I figured out how to fix the problem in this version, and I don't have that other version. This fix might work on that version, too.
Problem Description:
First off the searchbar couldn't locate the installed program, so somehow it isn't getting registered after the install. I located the script for it at /bin/music-
Fix:
I installed this package and could not get it to run until I downloaded source and moved its folders a little. I was able to get it to run by: 1. Downloading the source with the patch. 2. changing the script music-librarian to music-librarian.py and 3. moving the folder 'musiclibrarian
Other information
1) Ubuntu 14.04 LTS
2) apt-cache policy musiclibrarian
musiclibrarian: Candidate: 1.6-2.2
Version table: 1.6-2.2 0
Location: http://
3) I expected that typing musiclibrarian or music would bring up an icon in Unity and that a program would run from that.
4) Instead after installation the search bar could not see the program and also running the executable /usr/bin/
Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.
