Bug Description

Source Packages: musiclibrarian_1.6-2.2.diff.gz musiclibrarian_1.6-2.2.dsc musiclibrarian_1.6.orig.tar.gz

There is a similar bug reported in another version, but I'm adding this because I figured out how to fix the problem in this version, and I don't have that other version. This fix might work on that version, too.

Problem Description:
First off the searchbar couldn't locate the installed program, so somehow it isn't getting registered after the install. I located the script for it at /bin/music-librarian and ran that and got an error: "ImportError: No module named pygtk" and several other errors about being unable to import plugins. (Its a Python script).

Fix:
I installed this package and could not get it to run until I downloaded source and moved its folders a little. I was able to get it to run by: 1. Downloading the source with the patch. 2. changing the script music-librarian to music-librarian.py and 3. moving the folder 'musiclibrarian-plugins' into 'musiclibrarian'. 4. commandline 'python music-librarian.py' This allowed Python to find the plugin folder without a full install. Did not run setup.py Then executing 'python music-librarian.py' worked, and the program interface was usable with no error messages. Did not fully test all functions.

Other information
1) Ubuntu 14.04 LTS
2) apt-cache policy musiclibrarian
musiclibrarian: Candidate: 1.6-2.2
Version table: 1.6-2.2 0
Location: http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ trusty/universe amd64 Packages

3) I expected that typing musiclibrarian or music would bring up an icon in Unity and that a program would run from that.
4) Instead after installation the search bar could not see the program and also running the executable /usr/bin/music-librarian gave numerous import errors on the commandline.
