Could you please be more specific here? I am going to try and reproduce this, however I need to know more about what you think should or should not be heard. It may end up being obvious, but as an expected result, I think this is somewhat vague.

The expected result is that if we enable the orca screen reader, the orca screen will speech where my cursor point at.
Take a example:
1. Enable the orca screen reader at the login screen.
2. Open an application such as libreoffice.
3. Let the cursor point at any one label.
4. Orca screen reader will speech the label name.

@Sebastien,

If open software-center, and click the AllSoftware, Installed, History, or Process label. Lenovo required orca screen reader will speech like all software label, installed label, history label and process label but not page toggle speech.

Ok, I have trouble navigating the software center and reviewing app information. I'm still not sure exactly what this bug is about, but I've got something to start with anyway.

Actually no, just had some weirdness on my system... It is perfectly possible to navigate the software center with tab and shift tab, and this includes the toolbar.

SO I am really not sure what this bug is about.

Ok, let me attempt to have a stab at determining just what this bug is about.

You're wanting Orca to speak the various toolbar buttons when you move the mouse cursor over them? If so, Orca has a setting that is off by default that speaks whatever is under the mouse. Open Orca preferences with Insert + Spacebar, and in the general tab, under mouse, check the checkbox labeled "Speak object under mouse"

And as I've alredy stated in this bug, those toolbar buttons are all accessible with the keyboard by using tab and shift tab.

Or am I missing something?

@Luke

Uploaded two videos, 1.mp4 is the checkbox "Speak object under mouse" uncheck.
2.mp4 is checkbox "Speak object under mouse" check.

After check the "Speak object under mouse" from the Orca preferences, the label name will make a speech as expect.

Ok, that didnt make things any clearer to me as to what the problem is. Those videos showed expected behavior. In addition, the main use of Orca is with the keyboard, and it is possible to get to the toolbar with keyboard commands.

I'm enclined to close this bug, given the mouse option previously mentioned.
