SVG fonts don't show when opening a file from a blank document

Reproduced on Windows XP, Inkscape trunk rev. 13823 and 0.91.x rev. 13690.
Not reproduced with 0.48.5.

Steps:
1. Open Inkscape (default blank document).
2. Open a file (test file attached) containing an SVG font from the blank document (with File>Open or File>Recent).
3. Open the SVG font editor (Text>SVG Font Editor).
-> The font contained in the SVG file doesn't show in the font editor dialog.
4. Open the same file (or another one with SVG fonts) again.
-> The font correctly show in the dialog

Note that the console shows the following messages when loading the file (first and second time):
** (inkscape.exe:624): WARNING **: unknown type: svg:hkern
** (inkscape.exe:624): WARNING **: unknown type: svg:hkern

Creating the font with Inkscape 0.91.x or 0.48.5 doesn't seem to change anything, and the file fails to load in both cases.

Not reproduced on Crunchbang Waldorf, Inkscape trunk rev. 13829.

Not reproduced on OS X 10.7.5, Inkscape 0.91+devel r13829.

Note: on OS X we can test SVG-font related issues only with the X11-backend of GTK+ due to bug #1116468.

Doesn't seem like a Windows-specific proglem - it can be reproduced on OS X 10.7.5 too:

Variant A:
1) launch trunk with default (new) prefs
2) open the SVG font editor
3) open the SVG file with the SVG font
--> not listed
4) reopen the same SVG file
--> listed (in new document window)

Variant B:
1) launch trunk with default (new) prefs
2) open SVG Font editor
3) quit inkscape
4) launch inkscape again
   (now the SVG Font Editor is restored from the last session)
5) open SVG file with the SVG font
--> not listed
6) reopen same file
--> listed (in new document window)

Weird, now I can reproduced it on Crunchbang Waldorf too (both with the trunk and 0.48.3.1).

Minor detail/workaround
The existing fonts which initially are not listed in the dialog if the current document window was reused to load the file do appear in the list after adding a new font.
