Bug Description
I'm using a freshly intalled Linux Mint 17.1 with the kernel patched to 3.16.0-28-generic on an Asus Q502LA laptop.
When testing touch screen, I noticed that when changing the orientation to upside down, the touch screen still referenced normal screen coordinates even though the screen was inverted.
The same behavior is exhibited using right and left orientation. I have tested this with Ubuntu 14.04 successfully, so there may already be an upstream fix for the issue.
Just to be thorough: I would expect the touch screen coordinate orientation to match the screen display orientation.
This appears to happen every time, and happens whether the change is via the panel applet or via the settings applet.
I neglected to mention that I am using the Cinnamon installation of Mint 17.1.
