Bug Description

Currently, on my Dell notebook i have to compile the smm application by myself in order to get i8kmon running. It would be nice if smm also gets shipped with the i8kutils binary package and called (with 30a3/31a3) if needed automatically when i8kmon starts/ends.

Thanks for the nice work altough.

Perhaps this is not possible to be done! Not completely. At most, part of that.

Maybe other model does not need this in order to function; worst: maybe other model malfunction doing that.

At most, i8kutils binary package can be release with "smm" compiled.

Okay, did not know it could break some devices. So including smm into the binary package is currently the better way.

Thanks.
