Bug Description
The Linuxmint version 17 ships with gedit 2.30 which works fine by itself.
Problem arises when one wishes to install gedit-latex-plugin or gedit-developer
Versions of these packages in the default repository are not compatible with gedit v2.30.
gedit-latex-plugin requires gedit >= 3.8 while gedit-developer
Thus it is not possible to install any of these plugins with default repositories only.
