While I installing kernel 3.18.0 in ubuntu14.04 version I faced this issue

I just faced the very same bug on Ubuntu 14.04 while installing software updates among which there was a new kernel

in the crash logfile it seems that the kernel which the system was trying to install was kernel 3.13.0-57-generic
( sorry but I'm not very used to ubuntu and I'm not 100% sure which version it was)

while I am currently running 3.13.0-32-generic.

I don't know which files could help identifying the bug or either where to find or obtain them.
