Bug Description

I recently changed from jack1 to jack2, and it seems that something in jackd2 can get set up so that as mixxx starts up, portaudio tries to probe jack, and this can hang for 10 seconds or so.

This didn't always happen before, but not I can't get it to stop. I've tried deleting various config files to no avail. pasuspender doesn't help.

Ah, I think this is actually a portaudio bug. I had been testing a new usb sound card ad had disconnected and reconnected it a couple dozen times. I suspect there's an index getting incremented and portaudio is taking about a second per index to look for cards.
