Bug Description

linuxtv.org hosts a new upstream version: http://www.linuxtv.org/downloads/tvtime/

Would be great if this version could be integrated. Current version is 1.0.5.

tvtime package from ubuntu contains all updates made to tvtime in linuxtv.org. Over there in ubuntu, tvtime contains some updates for feature requests made here (e.g. channel selector in osd menu)

This weeks I have in plan to fork tvtime in Launchpad to make maintenance easier and keep for us updates made in Ubuntu which does not exist in linuxtv.org.

Did you try getting the Ubuntu patches applied in the linuxtv.org repo so that they don't need to be maintained by you?
