Bug Description
It would be nice if the xserver detection code could spot a synaptics touchpad
and automatically turn the SHMConfig option on in the xserver configuration so
that the pad can be configured from within the session. This needs the input
device to be using the 'synaptics' driver.

We already enable Synaptics touchpads where possible; we don't enable SHMConfig
since it breaks with multiple X servers, is insecure, etc.
