Image sharing does not seem to be supported

There does not appear to be an equivalent function to glance member-create in the openstack CLI.

This is used to share images between projects without making them public.

We use this at CERN for sharing images between small subgroups. We are gradually moving our users to the unified CLI and this is a function which they had used before.

This has not been implemented, although markwash and I did work out what it should look like quite some time ago. Rather than a separate set of commands, this functionality is part of the Image v2 commands as shown in https://wiki.openstack.org/wiki/OpenStackClient/Commands#image-member.
